Areas of Ministry: I try to give oversight to the craziest and most insane worship department in the world. I fit right in.

Family: Married 20 years to the most awesome woman in the world, Shannon. We have eight kids: Elizabeth, Sion (V), Mary Catherine, Brooke, Emily, Austin, David and Caroline.

Previous Lines of Work: Worked as a pharmacist for several years after college before becoming a youth pastor and music director at Living Word Fellowship in Panama City, Florida. After serving there for 9 years, we moved to the Dallas area where my wife and I served as worship pastors at a church in Arlington. Several years later, we came to Gateway, and the rest is unfolding history.

One of the Things I Find Most Fascinating: The older I get, the better I was.

My Hero: My best friend, Shannon.

One of My Greatest Experiences with God: The first time I ever felt God’s presence in a worship service. It was at a Mylon LeFevre concert in 1984. The encounter changed my life forever!

Most People Don’t Know This About Me: I shot my dad with a BB gun when I was a kid.
